We are now officially a franchise expanding to New Mexico! And now it's time to launch the brand new Rack Focus round here in Dallas!

Welcome to Rack Focus: Round 16! It's amazing how this little competition has become a staple in the DFW film industry.

We're thrilled to be back and help motivate you, get those creative wheels turning, and encourage you to express yourself through film!

Attention Actors! You are invited to attend the Pitch Session (for free) and listen to the filmmakers' pitches. Once you've heard them all, attach yourself to any project that interests you. There is no limit to the number of projects you can work on, so prepare to load up on as many as you can!

After the pitch session is over, it transforms into an industry mixer. This is a great chance for everyone to interact, network, and collaborate on productions in the film industry. It's an excellent opportunity to meet and mingle with professionals in the field and work on independent film projects in the DFW area.

So, get your creative juices flowing, grab a notebook and gear up for the next round of the biggest short-film competition in the DFW area - Rack Focus!

Attention Filmmakers! You are invited to the Pitch Session, where you will have 2 minutes to talk about your project.You can discuss the concept, casting, crew required, location requests, or anything else you'd like!

You have 3 months to complete your film! Turn in your film before the deadline and you're in! Be sure to follow the rules under our FAQ secion of this site to make sure you don't get disqualified!

Feel like a star at the Red Carpet Premiere, which will be held at a local movie theatre where you'll have your film screened

and have the opportunity to compete for trophies, cash prizes and, most importantly, bragging rights!
