ABOUT THE MOVIE

Hello, my family & friends! La Chancla del Diablo has been a passion project of mine for about 6 years. I've decided to finally take the plunge and produce it!

I want to do something different with this movie: I want to make this a family project! I want to incorporate familia in front of and behind the camera! I'll be shooting mainly at Ama's house in Wellington TX in honor of Ama. I'd like to cast family in certain roles and I'd also love to have family help make this movie possible by donating food, locations, props and anything else we may need!

I plan on hiring a predominantly Latino cast, people of color and much of the film will be in "Spanglish" - Spanish & English!

HOW YOU CAN HELP

We don't have a big budget, but we do have enough to shoot it with lots of favors and help from you!

SYNOPSIS/STORYLINE

After a spanking, a young 9 year-old Latin boy realizes the new pair of chanclas his mom purchased from the local dollar store are possessed by a demonic spirit. As his little brother falls to the chancla's spell his mother must convince the police of the murderous chancla's plan of manifesting into its original form - an evil witch hell-bent on eating children.
